Perfect World Entertainment Announces Holiday Events Across Several Games
PWE is getting ready to kick off (or already has in some cases) holiday events in several of its games. These include Neverwinter, Champions Online, PWI, Forsaken World, and Star Trek Online.
Since we've already covered STO's event here, we won't worry about doing it again. But here's a rundown on all the other games.
Neverwinter - Winter Festival of Simril (Dec 20 - Jan 10)
The Winter Festival returns, complete with new rewards and an improved fishing mini-game. Players can exchange fishing rods earned in previous winter events to obtain motes of light that are needed to purchase and new rod upgrades. Also, keep an eye out for something in the sky.
Champions Online - Attack of the Misfit Toys (Dec 13 - Jan 10)
On December 13, players can visit the Renaissance Center in Millennium City to take in the holiday festivities. This includes visiting a Toy Drive store where they can gather presents and collect special rewards. Or, there's the option to fight a giant teddy bear. You know... Whatever feels best.
PWI - Wonderland X'mas Carnival (December 20-27)
A series of events are available to players who visit the Wonderland Park. These include everything from dailies helping Santa deliver presents to a parade with gifts.
- *NEW* 12 Codes of Christmas Event (December 7 – 30, 2018)
- The most wonderful time of the year is here again! New for this year, 12 giveaway codes will be shared throughout the month to celebrate. Make sure to redeem them all.
- Holiday 5x XP/SP (December 5 – 12, 2018)
- As a holiday celebration bonus, enjoy bonus experience points and soul power for an entire week.
- Krampuslauf In-Game Event (December 7 – 12, 2018)
- Krampus returns! Have you been bad? Coordinate your efforts as a community and work with the GMs to help calm him down. St. Nicholas is watching too - he will give everyone presents based on the community contributions.
- Facebook Christmas Photo Contest (December 16 – 26, 2018)
- Take pictures of you and your friends celebrating the holiday season in game or in real life. Contest winners will receive special rewards and the community can unlock bonus gifts by sharing more pictures of holiday cheer!
More information on each of these events can be found at the links above.
