Penny Arcade's Acquisitions Incorporated Gets Their Own Neverwinter Module
Neverwinter's been pretty serious lately, what with cursed lands and scary castles and all. But it doesn't always have to be that way, as the reveal of some upcoming content for the game proves.
Perfect World is bringing Penny Arcade's Acquisitions Incorporated into the game with The Heart of Fire module. IA is a Dungeons & Dragons adventuring company created by the founders of Penny Arcade Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik -- who will be voicing the characters Omin Dran and Jim Darkmagic.
Players will have the opportunity to intern with Acquisitions Incorporated. Buuuut, it probably isn't going to be like your normal, "Bring me a coffee. Soy. Nutmeg. Two packs of sugar. No whip," kind of internships. Instead, you'll do some adventuring through the Sword Coast.
In addition to the AI content, The Heart of Fire will also add a new skirmish, overhaul the profession system, and more. (Apparently there's even going to be a Beholder convention, which sounds terrifying.)
The module will release on PC November 6, with information being doled out on blogs between now and then. Until then, you can watch the announcement trailer below.
