Peni Parker Pilots The SP//dr Into Battle In The Latest Marvel Rivals Character Reveal
A high-tech spider mech and Arachno-Mines will help make quick work of her enemies.
Marvel Rivals’ lineup keeps growing with the announcement of another Spider hero. Peni Parker brings her SP//dr Mech, Cyber-Web, and Arachno-Mines into combat with her to stand against some of the most well-known beings in the Marvel universe.
Today, Marvel Games dropped a reveal trailer for the character, offering players a glimpse at her in combat. Some folks compared the mech to an Eva, but looks-wise, it seems almost inspired by Samus Aran's Varia suit from Metroid...until it transforms into a more spider-themed version of itself, that is.
Peni’s addition just proves that Marvel has plenty of characters to pull from when adding to the team shooter. If done right, players should be able to look forward to a diverse lineup.
