Pearl Abyss' Battle Royale Shadow Arena Coming To Console And Adding New Hero
Pearl Abyss' Black Desert Online battle royale spinoff Shadow Arena is headed to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There's no official date for the console release, but it will be available later this year. Of course, with the game still in early access on PC, it makes sense that an exact date isn't available yet.
In addition to the console announcement, Pearl Abyss has also released the 12th playable hero, Gorath. The alchemist uses the power of the earth to summon rocks to attack his enemies with -- both long distance or close-range. He can also use the rocks as a defensive strategy. One of his abilities even creates a rock-filled hurricane that damages all enemies around him. A full rundown of his abilities is available in today's patch notes.
