Careful, you aren't safe even while building or while being idle in your plot.

Have you been laying claim to plots and doing some building in Pax Dei? If you have, you were likely a big fan of some incoming changes to roads and the MMORPG's entire landscape. The aim is to open up more areas of the world for you build upon and add more opportunities for you to be creative with your builds.

Today, there's some new options hitting servers that PvP fans will likely be excited to hear. As Mainframe preps their "Proving Grounds" content update, they've decided to add a new option for those that like taking out other players. The PvP province of Lyonesse is now open for building.

You read that right. Starting today and running until Proving Grounds drops, you can hit up the PvP zone and actually lay claim to land and start building there.

This unlock is only temporary. When Proving Grounds drops on November 5th, all plots in the PvP zone will be wiped and reset just like all of your other plots. The entire test comes as a result of players giving feedback that they want some "real PvP" in Pax Dei. Whether this feature returns for early access will depend on player feedback during this test.

If you've already filled all of your available plots, you'll need to release one if you would like to build in Lyonesse. Be careful, though. While players can't mess with your build or your items (unless you've set everything to public), you can be killed while in your plot, while building, or while sitting idle in your build...I mean, unless you've built high enough walls.

Get all the nitty gritty from the FAQ posted on the Pax Dei site for everything else you may need to know before you start building.
