Pax Dei Market Square Part 3 Update Now Available, Meaning A Compass Is Finally A Thing
The patch introduces the in-game compass, Discord integration, and plenty of market updates.
Today, Mainframe dropped a new update in Pax Dei, introducing more Market Square features to the MMORPG. The new update adds the ability for players to browse all the market stalls in their Home Valley from a single menu and implements filters for easier searching. It also introduces a new market stall variant with two choices of design.
In addition to the Market updates, other features have been added. First off, Unreal Engine 5.4 has been implemented. Second, a compass now shows players the cardinal directions as well as nearby points of interest, making navigation easier. Also, changes to the building system have been introduced, along with new building pieces. New emotes have been added as well. Now players can dance, salute, and cheer. Oh, and there are now sitting animations.
Another important batch of changes in this update impact resource gathering. The process should be easier for players now that a new UI will show the name of nodes, their difficulty level, and even what tools are needed to gather them.
