Path Of Exile Officially Announces The Legacy Of Phrecia Event And Reveals Some "New" Ascendancies
This is one of the “whacky” ideas GGG was talking about.
A couple of days ago, Grinding Gear Games announced they would be trying some “whacky” ideas to give Path of Exile players something interesting to do while they wait for the delayed 3.26 content update. The developers of the ARPG teased a couple of those ideas, promising details at a later time. Now is that time.
One of the things teased is the ability to ascend a Witch into a Harbinger. Today, GGG provided more details about what they’ve named "The Legacy of Phrecia" event. Specifically, they explained how players can take their Witch and make them a Harbinger, allowing them to manipulate reality and time. They can summon allies to help in combat and also get to fly and be blue. Not sure what that last thing does for the gameplay, but hey.
The post also teased the Gambler Ascendency for the Duelist. As the name indicates, this class is built around luck. You know, for those who like to… well… gamble.
The official post also allows you to vote on the next Ascendancy the team showcases.
