Path Of Exile's New Expansion, Betrayal, Now Live, Adds Three Previous Expansions To The Base Game
Path of Exile's latest big thing, the Betrayal expansion, is now live. How big is it? So big that it contains content from the previous three expansions -- Bestiary, Incursion, and Delve -- in addition to the new stuff in Betrayal. That's four expansions for the price of one -- and that price is still "free."
Betrayal adds new baddie group the Immortal Syndicate, a crime organization with operatives all throughout Wraeclast. You'll hunt them down with the assistance of of Jun Ortoi, and manipulate the 18 members of the Syndicate in your attempts to reach their leaders, who (naturally) have the best loot in their safehouses.
In addition to the Betrayal content, content from the previous three expansions is now part of the base game. Today's update also brings major changes to hideouts, crafting, new skills, and the Atlas of Worlds, as well as adding Veiled items, which offer you a choice during their identification.
