Path Of Exile's Echoes Of The Atlas Expansion Now Live
Path of Exile's latest expansion, Echoes of the Atlas, is now live on PC, with a console launch to follow up in five days. The expansion offers new endgame content, including a new pinnacle boss, the Maven, as well as fights against multiple bosses at once. It comes with a new league, the Ritual Challenge League, as well as the return of the Heist and Harvest Leagues, with some modifications to make them more friendly to players.
The game's 19 Ascendancy Classes get a significant rework with this expansion, with three of them seeing major changes. There are also the usual slate of new skill gems and items, which you can learn about from the initial reveal, which we covered last week or the in-depth articles that GGG posted over the course of the week, which we summarized here.
Grinding Gear Games' Chris Wilson also posted a letter to players yesterday, explaining how the extra time that his team had to polish the update (due to the delay brought on by Cyberpunk's launch) gave the team time to find issues that might have otherwise not have been fixed until after launch. He said that he's most excited about the new league, which "finally ... deserves the awesome Ritual name. ... For how simple the league is conceptually, it's a total blast to play."
