Path Of Exile Offers (Some) Details On What To Expect From Update 3.3.0
Grinding Gear Games is just a month away from revealing the full scope of Path of Exile's 3.3.0 update. Until then, however, they've decided to answer some of the players' questions about what to expect -- things like whether or not the update is an expansion or a league, or if they'll be running an alpha test for the update.
As it turns out, the update will be branded as a league, but promises to be bigger than a normal league offering. A true expansion is currently being worked on for release later this year. Since this update is primarily a league, the next thing the update addresses is what it will be like, noting that the developers wanted to "reinforce the core of what makes Path of Exile fun to play". This means there'll be lots of monster slaying and experience and items to earn.
The update is currently expected to be released on June 1, with the Xbox One version following. Prior to that, there will, in fact, be an Alpha test for 3.3.0.
