Pantheon: Rise Of The Fallen Devs Dropped A Juicy Lore Video Introducing The Nomadic Aridola Faction
For all the lore fanatics out there, here's your next scoop.
The tapestry of yore that Visionary Realms is weaving within the world of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen has expanded a bit further with the introduction of the Aridola nomadic faction. While it did debut during the recent developer stream, the team dropped the juicy lore piece as a separate video today.
The Aridola are nomadic people "storing the wisdoms of the forgotten peoples of Terminus." Their beginnings are a mystery - even to themselves - but the group has focused on harvesting knowledge. The nomadic faction also believes that "maps invite misfortune" and that "any link to their own past will only invite the unspoken horror that dwells within it."
Visionary makes it clear that they're not a shadowy and suspicious faction due to their introduction. The Aridola's culture is shaped around dancing and songs embedded with mysticism, brimming with themes of joy and hospitality. The group lives in nomadic tent villages known as "woda" and lives off a mixture of self-made provisions, harvesting resources, and trading with locals.
The video doesn't show in-game footage of the Aridola, but unveils a range of artwork stills to help you imagine this nomadic civilization. If you'd like to learn more, check out the video below.
