Pantheon Drops Early Access FAQ, But We'll Have To Wait On The Price Point
6 zones, 6 races, and 12 classes will be available.
I was very excited to cover the news almost two weeks ago that Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen would be headed into early access later this year. The MMORPG has been running its "Seasons" for those that have picked up pledge packs, but access to the game was still limited and I can't wait to see it opened up.
The team at Visionary Realms dropped an FAQ about the upcoming early access today and while it does hit on some questions I'm sure many have, it still stays away from advertising an early access price point. Guess we're going to have to wait on that one.
First up, when early access kicks off, those that do currently have pledge packs will get many of their pledge perks delivered and they'll get to access the early access a little early. If you'd like to just buy in now, you can still pledge on the site. You'll even get to play in the seasons running up until the beginning of early access. In fact, if there's any pledge perks you've been thinking about, you'll want to grab one now as those packs will be unavailable once early access starts in December. Pledges will not have to buy anything to get into early access. Those that haven't pledged will have to buy a "digital copy" of the game. That's the price we're still waiting on.
Speaking of pledges, you won't be able to carry your season character into the early access. There will be a wipe before things kick off and there may be periodic wipes during the early access as needed. While the team will spin up as many servers as needed, the servers will all have the same ruleset and no, you won't be able to transfer servers with your characters, so plan with friends accordingly.
I'm ready and waiting! Hit up the full post, or my previous article, for a list of what will and will not be included in the 24/7 early access.
