Palworld Gets Its First Raid Boss And No, You Can’t Keep It
It’ll drop eggs for you, though.
Palworld’s latest patch dropped today, and it’s filled with new content, tweaks, and adjustments. The thing that players will likely be most excited about is the addition of the game’s first-ever Raid Boss. In the multiplayer critter-catching game, raid bosses are summoned using the newly added Summoning Altar and slabs.
Unfortunately, for the collectors (which is just about everyone in these types of games), raid bosses can not be caught and added to the menagerie. They will, however, drop eggs once defeated. Palworld raid bosses also feature an “extreme” version, for those who want a bigger challenge.
In addition to the raid bosses, update v0.2.0.6 also introduces new usable items such as training and ancient technical manuals and recovery meds. Another useful new item is the “Homeward Thundercloud” which immediately ports players to their nearest base.
Other features of the game's update included adjustments to Pals, the players’ bases, the UI, and more. Details on all of these are available in the patch notes on Steam.
