Palia Game Director Drops Introductory Letter Ahead Of Closed Beta
The letters warns players that beta will have performance quirks but promises the best efforts of the developer.
On August 2, Singularity Six will launch the Closed Beta test for its upcoming cozy MMO Palia. Before things kick off, the game’s Director Aidan Karabaich decided to share a few thoughts and promises in a director’s letter. The post covers a bit of the game’s development history, what players should expect from the beta, and offers some information on what to expect in the coming year.
Obviously, the general discussion on the beta test revolves around how while the developers will try their best to make it stable, it is a beta test. The interesting part of the letter is the list of things players can expect over time. This includes things like themed events, new quests and storylines with new villagers, new decorations, crops, recipes, and more. There’s even a promise of more character customization, including the addition of beards – which seems to have them pretty excited. On the tech end, players can look forward to the Nintendo Switch release, controller support, and quality-of-life improvements.
