Paladins Patch 32 Offers Piecemeal Skin System, Totally Revamped UI
It's standard practice for "hero shooter" games to offer alternate skins, letting you completely change the way your character looks. What's less common is for them to adopt a more MMO-like style of letting you mix and match different parts of your look, but that's what Hi-Rez Studios has done with the latest beta patch to Paladins: Champions of the Realm.
Update 32 breaks out the "full body" skins into three categories -- head, body, and weapon -- for Pip and Bomb King, with more champions to follow. Prices for those skins have been adjusted downwards to account for their partial nature.
The update also makes major changes to the main UI and your champion screens, letting you see at a glance your progress with each champion and what you've unlocked with them. Finally, the deckbuilding layout has been tweaked, making it easier to search your collection and build decks.
