Paladins Introduces New Champion; Skins
Hi-Rez's upcoming shooter-MOBA, Paladins, recently introduced its 15th champion, the Bomb King. As his name indicates, this particular champion has a taste for all things that go BOOM. Some explode quickly, some slowly, some like to stick to things.
Bomb King's weapon of choice are Sticky Bombs that stick to any surface for 60 seconds and can be remotely detonated. He also boasts a "Grumpy Bomb" that might remind you a bit of a Bob-Omb -- personality-wise, and a Poppy Bomb that functions like the Sticky Bombs with a knockback.
Card-wise, he features several cards that can increase the amount of damage done by his bombs, or -- in the case of the Grumpy Bomb -- reduce the amount of damage the bombs do to himself if he's nearby when it explodes.
In addition to the introduction of Bomb King, the new update also adds a few new skins for Pip and Kinessa. Pip gets an Event Exclusive skin titled Raider Pip, while Kinessa gets two shiny new Rare skins, Viking and Cutthroat Kinessa.
Of course, as with any update there area also plenty of technical changes, including nerfs, buffs, name and art changes, and other things you can read about in the full log.
