Overwatch 2 Pachimari Event Now Live Featuring Free Cosmetics And New Arcade Mode
Play Catch-A-Mari on the event-themed Hanamura from now until April 4.
Onions have layers; there’s more to them than meets the eye, and Pachimari is no different because it is an onion, but also an adorable alien.
The collectible plush toy in Overwatch 2 is getting its own event. It runs from now until April 4. Players can complete challenges to earn Pachimari-themed cosmetics and even participate in a new arcade game mode that features the cutie itself.
Catch-A-Mari is a fresh “elimination-confirmed” 3v3 where a Pachimari will drop from defeated enemies. Collect the plush toy to score a point, but an opponent may grab it to prevent scoring. Also, Hanamura now has an event-themed layout and is hosted by Roadhog (Pachimari's biggest fan).
Additionally, next weekend, March 24 to March 26, there will be another double XP weekend in the hero combat game for those trying to finish the Season 3 Battle Pass before the next one begins in early/mid April.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
