Overwatch 2's Newest Hero, Venture, Burrows Their Way Onto The Scene
Venture is coming to Overwatch 2.
There's a new trailer out for the newest Hero in Overwatch 2. Venture (They/Them according to the YouTube video information) has a kit of seismic abilities that seem to provide a whole lot of movement around the shooter's map.
Venture's Ultimate is Tectonic Shock which sends out damaging shockwaves. Abilities include Burrow which allows them to move underground and become invulnerable until you choose to emerge to deal damage. Venture's other ability is Drill Dash which dashes forward pushing back enemies.
Venture's Passives are Explorer's Resolve, which grants temporary shields when using abilities, and Clobber, where quick melee deals more damage.
Other than the Burrow ability, Venture's kit looks pretty mundane. We'll just have to wait and see how it plays out on the battlefield. If you're a fan of movement, then Venture could be your next main. They debut in Overwatch 2 on April 16th, with a trial starting tomorrow, the 28th.
