We’re here with where you can download the game and all you need to know.
The highly anticipated launch of Overwatch 2 is finally here and that means that the original Overwatch is no more. Fans that are excited to download Overwatch 2 can do so from the following locations depending on which console they choose to use.
• PC - available to download via Battle.net
• PS4/ PS5 - available to download via the PlayStation Store
• Xbox Series X|S/ Xbox One - available to download via the Microsoft Store
• Nintendo Switch - available to download via the Nintendo eShop
Overwatch 2 will be released at 12:00 PST / 15:00 EST / 20:00 BST. Sadly players won’t be able to pre-download the game unless they purchased the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack, or, if players already had Overwatch 1, they should have received the Watchpoint Pack for free and will also be able to pre-download the game on the same platform that they had Overwatch 1.
Overwatch 2 will introduce new customizable Mythic Skins, new characters like Kiriko, and even two new Overwatch Esports opportunities to those of underrepresented genders.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
