Overwatch 2’s Heroes Are Now Free, Even The Newest Hero Venture, Now That Season 10 Is Live
Meet Venture.
Today, Blizzard Entertainment dropped Overwatch 2’s Update 3.75, introducing new Limited Time Modes, skin updates, challenges, and even a new Hero. The new Hero, Venture, is the first of Overwatch 2’s playable characters to be offered to all players of the hero shooter for free at the same time.
An archaeologist, Venture is armed with a rather big drill and boasts several seismic abilities. They can send out shock waves and even burrow underground. The latter ability makes Venture invulnerable and able to surprise enemies from below.
As for the new LTMs, the update introduces Mirrorwatch and Clash Trial. Mirrorwatch is tied to the update, while Clash Trial is a Season 10 mode. The former runs from April 23 to May 13 and the latter can be played from now until April 29.
Speaking of Season 10, it introduces new ways to unlock rewards, offering players the ability to earn 600 Overwatch Coins in the free Battle Pass. The new season also introduces Mythic Prisms, which players will use to unlock Mythic skins. Oh, and yeah, all heroes are free now.
A full rundown of the update and everything it contains is available on the Overwatch 2 site.
