Overwatch 2 Adds A New "Prop-Hunt" Game Mode Called Mischief & Magic
Time for some Hide and Seek.
Starting today, Overwatch 2 is featuring a new "prop-hunt" mode called Mischief & Magic. One team of five will be hiding by disguising themselves as various objects, while another team of five seeks them out and hunts them down in the hero shooter.
The hiders, known as Rogues, won't be able to attack, but they can double-jump and wall-climb in order to find the best hiding spot before turning into a randomly chosen prop. You can continue to sneak around or stay in one place for the round. There is a penalty for staying still too long, however, so some moving around will be required.
The seekers are called Royal Knights. Seekers must sus out which of the dozens of randomly placed props are players. Seekers will have their melee and swift strike skills, as well as their ultimates. Find all five Rogues before time runs out.
During this week, Overwatch 2 is featuring double XP, so it's a good time to jump in to complete the Premium Battle Pass.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
