Over 700 Developers Offer Games And Other Goodies In Itch.io Bundle To Raise Funds For Ukrainians
The ~1,000 item bundle is worth more than $6,500, but you can have it for $10.
Okay, so, I'll admit it. This one is a bit of a stretch on the "multiplayer" focus on the site. BUT there are some multiplayer games here. They're just...for around six players or so. And, you know me. If there's a good cause, and I can help y'all save some cash on games in the process, I'll try to get Mike to let me post about it, and this is a good cause, and a LOT of cash saving.
Currently, more than 700 developers and creators on itch.io are banding together and offering approximately 1,000 items in a massive bundle that will cost players only $10 to pick up. The proceeds from this will be split between two charities: International Medical Corps and Voices of Children. The first is providing medical assistance to Ukrainians who need it. The second is an organization that helps children deal with the results of living through a war. That means treating PTSD and helping them get back to being kids as best they can.
It's important to note that not everything in this bundle is games. Of the items, nearly 600 of them are video games, 300 are analog tabletop RPGs, and other items include asset packs, books, comics, music, and more.
Currently, the goal is to raise $2 million for the charities. The good news is, they’re not far off from that goal and currently have raised $1.6 million. There’s just a bit under 10 days left to go, too, so there’s plenty of time to grab a bundle and help kick the total over the goal.
