Open-World Survival Game Stormforge To Hit Steam Next Year
In the meantime, they’d like some playtesters.
Roboto Games would like some folks to help test its upcoming open-world fantasy survival crafting game Stormforge. The game, designed for solo or co-op play (up to eight players), is slated to hit Steam’s Early Access in 2025.
Stormforge, revealed over the weekend during both IGN Live and the PC Gaming Show, is set in the procedurally generated world of Sorana – a world dealing with magical storms that result in death. It brings together deep fantasy and RPG elements with a fully moddable survival game. Like most games these days, it blends a collection of features from different genres together. It also boasts a “graphic novel style influenced by Moebius and Miyazaki.” Important features include magical storms that are both threats and a source of needed items.
As mentioned, the game is moddable. It includes a fully integrated modding system that will allow players to “seamlessly enhance their gameplay."
Players can apply to take part in testing now. Just head to the game’s website.
