Open-World Survival Game The Front Gets A Bit Spooky For Halloween
In a survival game, that mostly means decoratively-speaking.
Tomorrow, October 31, Samar Studio will launch a Halloween event in its survival game, The Front. The event will last a week, and during that time players who receive Wave 10 and higher supplies from the Spacetime Beacon will have the opportunity to snag some Halloween-themed loot. Included in these supply drops are spooky-but-useful items. In fact, the items will still be available to use after the event ends.
The list of items includes a Halloween Helmet, Jack-o-Lanterns, Coffins, Tombstones, and Pumpkins. The last two items are just decorative and can be used to make things more spooky. The Coffin functions as a sleeping bag and can even be used to respawn after death. Jack-o-Lanterns are used in the same way as bonfires, to cook food, except they look spooky and come in different styles that glow with different colors. The helmet is… well… a helmet. There are no special properties, other than the fact that it has no level restriction.
