Open World PvP Sandbox MMO "Anvil Empires" Launches Pre-Alpha In April
Fight to survive, fight to conquer.
Developer Siege Camp has announced their newest project "Anvil Empires", an open-world, PvP, sandbox MMO in a medieval setting. The game features a persistent online world where up to 1,000 players can take part in massive siege battles to conquer the realm.
Players will be building settlements, establishing supply camps, and feeding their armies. Small settlements can be established or players can work together to create larger towns.
Three alliances will vie for control of the world in multi-faction conflict across craggy highlands, swaths of verdant fields, dense forests, and murky mires.
The game runs on the R2 engine, a custom server engine that supports up to a thousand players in a dense environment and tens of thousands of simulated and replicated entities across the world.
