Nevergrind Online, the first-person MMO dungeon crawl, just finished up with a limited-time 75% discount on Steam. The sale was pretty successful as it turns out, so the team at Neverworks Games (kind of a funny game studio name when you think about it) has decided to extend a lower price for the game...until further notice.

Since they tweeted us so kindly, we're here to let you know that you can now grab the early access game for $11.99.

Nevergrind Online tasks players with banding together on old-school inspired dungeon crawling adventures. I mean, even the art above screams old school inspired as I'm sure you can think of an MMORPG or two that shares similar art. In a first-person view, you'll slay monsters, evade dangers, and score epic loot in real-time battles.

Sure, you can play the game solo, but the whole point of having a dozen races and over a dozen classes is so you and your friends can customize your build and roll through adventures together.

While the game isn't exactly crowded with players, something pointed out in their own sale post, the team does feel that there's a steady enough stream of players to enable you to find some adventuring friends pretty quickly.

If you've been on the fence on the project, maybe this discount is the push you needed to grab the title.

I loved their first game (Nevergrind), and I like this one too, but the problem is the loot, you can go for 20+levels and not get an upgrade, because the gear balancing is so bad and the drops are also terrible. It's like, imagine if a pair of level 20 gloves added 25% extra fire damage, and the first upgrade would be a pair of gloves with +50 fire damage that only drop on level 70+ gear. Again, just making up an example, but that's the sort of imbalance I'm talking about.
