One Year In And Palworld Exceeds 32 Million Players, But They Still Have To Deal With Nintendo
Yes, that's across Steam, Xbox, and PS5 in total.
Look, Pocketpair has got a lot going on right now. Just last month the team released Palworld's 2025 roadmap as the game was prepping to celebrate 1 year since "release." That roadmap features some ambitious plans for co-op cross play, collaborations, and the ability to transfer your Pals across worlds. And that's just scratching the surface.
That says nothing of the pending lawsuit with Nintendo, a case likely to be expensive and time-consuming, even if it never finds its way to a courtroom.
Today, however, is a day for celebration as the team took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the game has pulled in 32 million players in its first year of early access. That number is across 3 different platforms, Steam, Xbox, and PS5, but it's still no less impressive. Of course we'll put in the usual caveat of "this is likely 32 million registered accounts" or something similar and in no way represents the number of currently active players, but yeah...big numbers are big.
Congrats to the team!
