One Month After Launch, Apex Legends Hits 50 Million Players
If you're keeping track -- and we are -- you'd know that Apex Legends has been racking up new players unlike any game before it. That number has now reached 50 million, as commemorated in a video teaser released today by Respawn Entertainment that takes time to not only celebrate the player base but also to poke fun at Apex's most-despised weapon, the Mozambique.
Apex Legends launched 28 days ago today, February 4. By comparison, Fortnite: Battle Royale had 20 million players 40 days after its launch, so this means the next big battle royale to come along should have 100 million players in its first week or something.
