The First Contact Day Celebration begins tomorrow.
Today, Arc Games is kicking off the annual First Contact Day celebration in Star Trek Online tomorrow. The event brings the celebration of humanity’s first encounter with Vulcans into the F2P MMORPG with a selection of activities and rewards.
Between tomorrow and April 29 on all platforms, players will be able to build and launch their own Phoenix Rocket, get in a bit of time traveling to stop the Borg from preventing First Contact, and take part in the Synth attack on Mars. Each day of the event, taking part in these activities will earn players progress toward the latest Grand Prize: the Hangar Pets Federation Mission Scout Ship.
Of course, there are other rewards to be had as well. Completing any of the activities once per day will earn players a First Contact Day Badge Box. The box will allow players to choose one of 17 Comm Badges to unlock account-wide. Players can also earn the First Contact Day Bundle, which contains several useful items, including 25,000 Dilithium Ore. A full list of rewards and more details on the event are available on the Star Trek Online site.
