GAMESCOM 2024: Omeda Studios’ Paragon-Inspired MOBA Predecessor Is Available On All Platforms As Of Today
The game combines the core mechanics of a MOBA with a third-person shooter/brawler.
Today, Omeda Studios announced the 1.0 launch of Predecessor on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game, originally inspired by Epic Games’ Paragon, combines the core features of a MOBA with a third-person shooter/brawler experience.
Predecessor is built on Paragon’s visual assets using Unreal Engine 5. It features over 35 playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and overhauls Paragon’s maps and mechanics. The game also features cross-play functionality across all available platforms.
The game is available to download for free. That said, there are bundles ranging in price from $20 to $50. Each bundle comes with a selection of heroes, Discord roles, in-game currency, and more.
