Social Deduction Game "West Hunt", Where Even Tumbleweeds Are Suspicious, Launches On Steam
Even the tumbleweeds are suspicious in NewGen’s West Hunt.
Little men on spaceships, geese and sketchy ducks, villages filled with all kinds of shady characters, and now a town in the Old West. What do they all have in common? Someone’s an impostor and they need to be caught before everyone else dies. The latest addition to the social deduction game genre, NewGen’s West Hunt, takes place in the Old West. And it seems Seth MacFarlane was correct… there are a lot of ways to die in the west. Even tumbleweeds are apparently a problem in this game.
Players can take on a variety of roles and participate in a selection of game modes. These include PvP with 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches, as well as PvE, but the goal is the same. Figure out who the impostor is and run them out of town before things get worse.
The game launches on Steam today and will cost players $10 to pick up. Those who get the game now (or pre-ordered) will receive an in-game store discount, an XP boost, keys they can give to friends, leaderboard prizes, and more. If you’d rather play the game on console, it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch “soon”.
