Old School RuneScape Mobile Receives A UI Update And New Features For Its 6th Anniversary
The UI update allows players to personalize their experience.
It’s been six years since Jagex launched Old School RuneScape on mobile devices, and if you thought they might have dropped it on iOS and Android and decided that’s good enough, you’d be wrong. Today, the developer announced a big new update for the mobile MMORPG, one that adds new features and makes big changes to the game’s UI to make playing it even better.
The new, enhanced mobile UI offers players a way to personalize their experience with a streamlined interface as well as the addition of Side Stones and Hotkeys that allow players to create their own layouts with shortcuts. They’ll now be able to move through the different menu options easily using 25 features that can be assigned to Hotkeys. The new system also allows players to create up to three customizable profiles for different activities. Other features such as Chat and HiScores also benefit from the enhanced UI.
The changes should make for an improved player experience, overall. Not a bad way to celebrate an anniversary, really.
