Nope! XDefiant Will Not Make Planned March Launch, Will Firm Up New Date After Stress Test
This isn't really surprising, but it is still disappointing.
Earlier this week we reported on a few tidbits of XDefiant information as we continued to wait for an official release date for the shooter from Ubisoft. Most people following the game were looking towards the end of March as a potential release window. That window came from Ubisoft's financial report after the game had previously been delayed due to issues behind the scenes and a failed console certification.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, XDefiant is being delayed again...and once again it is being delayed indefinitely.

Why? According to the post on X, there's "still some improvements that we need to test" making the end of March impossible.
For those really eager to get into the game, the team is preparing a 12-hour stress test that will run on PC and consoles, but there's no date for that yet, either.
Expect more date info to come soon and sorry for the bad news on a Friday!
