Ninja Will Get A Character In Raid: Shadow Legends, Which You Can Obtain For Free
I have never played Raid: Shadow Legends, the free-to-play, gacha-heavy mobile RPG that has probably served more ads in the past year than McDonald's has served burgers. There's no evidence that mega-streamer Ninja has ever played it either, yet he's about to get a character in the game and I'm not. That's so unfair.
According to a press release, Ninja's character will be attainable starting on July 16. To acquire him, you'll need to log in on seven days over three months, after which he'll no longer be available. On the bright side, those days don't need to be consecutive, so you can spread your seven logins over the entire three-month period.
What you'll get is a character whose face and head resemble Ninja's, but whose body -- well, I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a crystalline blue arm and bow, and a wing. Yes, one wing. He's a fancy Sephiroth cosplayer.
As PC Gamer noted, Ninja has never streamed Raid: Shadow Legends, but I'm $ure there are several reason$ why he'$ promoting it now. As he put it, he's "really excited to introduce RAID fans to my Champion, which was designed to match how I've always pictured myself in an RPG." If that's true, then he's got a much better imagination than I do.
Ninja will reveal his Raid: Shadow Legends character's traits and abilities during a stream on July 19 -- if he can tear himself away from his recent run of Magicman-pleasing Final Fantasy XI streams.
