The First Descendant Final Test Details

In kind of a weird bit of marketing, in my opinion, The First Descendant dropped a 15-second teaser trailer for the reveal of the looter-shooter's Season 1 earlier today. Normal enough, sure. Literally 5 hours later they dropped the full trailer. I've placed both below for you, but yeah, kind of weird that the come out hours apart.

Anyway, diving into what Season 1 will add to NEXON's game on August 29th, we come across the big addition of a new Descendant; Hailey. Hailey, like Viessa before her, is an ice-based Descendant that not only uses elemental powers but is also a crack shot with a sniper rifle. If the video is anything to go by, we could see the Ultimate version of Freyna added, too. That last bit isn't confirmed by us yet, just a guess on my part. Either way, Freyna's backstory is expected to be examined in "Invasion."

"Invasion" also adds an element of randomness as two dungeons on Hard difficulty can have an optional invasion spawn while you're in the dungeon. You don't HAVE to do the random invasion, but should you opt to do so, clear it as fast as you can for better rewards.

Other additions in Season 1 include new Ultimate Weapons, a new Void Intercept Battle against the Death Stalker, and a new progression system tied to the season that improves your incremental stats.

Nightmares abound, see you next week, Descendants!
