Nickelodeon Announces All-Star Brawl 2, Hopes To Improve On Complaints With The First Version
The game has been rebuilt from the ground up.
Nickelodeon has decided to give the whole brawler game thing another go – bringing all their popular characters back in All-Star Brawl 2. Developer GameMill Entertainment dropped a trailer – with a pretty heavy focus on Squidward – introducing the new game today. They’re billing it as a “wholly new game experience that’s more accessible and competitive”, also promising that it’s made for players of any skill level.
All-Star Brawl 2 is a complete rebuild with improved visuals, animation, stages, and more. It boasts a bigger roster than the last offering, including new players and returning ones. The characters also have new Supers.
For those that aren’t feeling incredibly competitive, the game features a single-player campaign. This campaign will feature roguelike elements as players fight Danny Phantom’s archvillain Vlad Plasmius from taking over the universe – specifically the Nickelodeon universe.
The game also features new mini-games that can be played solo or with friends and full cross-platform play. The latter is for as many as four players.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is currently available to pre-order across multiple systems. The base game runs $50. There are also two more expensive editions, a season pass, and individual DLC packs.
Playback on other sites is disabled, so you’ll have to watch the trailer on YouTube.
