Nexon's Upcoming Free Looter Shooter The First Descendant Release Window Revealed
We must unfortunately wait a bit, but at least we know how long now.
Fun Fact: The First Descendant is dropping at the same time of year as Final Shape, Destiny 2’s next major update (which was delayed).
Nexon's free-to-play looter shooter has finally been given a release date, or rather a window: Summer 2024. The game will launch on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Players assume the role of Descendants, each possessing distinct abilities and movesets, and the overarching objective is to defend the planet against invaders known as Colossi — employing third-person shooting and RPG mechanics.
Also, in a new trailer shown during the Game Awards, another Descendant was revealed. Although the trailer lacks gameplay footage, the developers emphasized their commitment to refining gameplay based on feedback received during the semi-recent open beta sessions.
