New World Is Up For Yet Another Round Of Server Merges
Five different regions are due for consolidation.
Amazon is preparing more server merges for New World, or rather they have prepared. The developers subjected players to a 20-minute downtime yesterday in order to get things ready. The actual merges will occur tomorrow, July 21 around 9:00 pm Pacific time with the projected downtime being two hours.
Five regions have servers being merged: Central EU, US-East, US-West, South America, and Australia. The bulk of the mergers will be among the EU servers. All told eleven servers will be merged into three. Hyperborea, Rocabarra, Amenti, Bran, and Brittia will all become part of Barri. Tir Na Nog, Midgard, Ship-Trap, and Vega will join Nysa. Evonium and Avalon will be added to the Tartarus family.
The next largest group will be the US East servers. Silha and Pluto will be joining Castle of Steel while Orun will be added to Valhalla and Ohonoo will become part of Orofena. The US West mergers will see Camelot and Lilliput joining El Dorado. Two South American servers – Apsu and Irkalla – will join Devaloka. Finally, Australia’s Utopia will become part of Delos.
Prior to the merges, Amazon will post messages in-game reminding players about them happening. Once the message goes up, players won’t be able to transfer servers.

Honestly, I didn't cover it yesterday because I thought it was a joke.

Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six are moving to a new home... kinda.

Is it just because I can't pay attention or is it maybe just because the content is disposable to me?

Don't forget to transfer your PC or mobile account. You're running out of time.
