New World: Forged In Aeternum Season 2 Deep Dive
New World devs are talking Season 2 in this week's episode.
If you're looking forward to Season 2 of New World, this is the video for you. The devs talk about Season Pass rewards, events, and other things you can expect when Season 2 goes live in New World.
Deep diving into the lore, the devs asked the question where are the sandworms coming from, why have they been dormant, and why are they being revived now. There's a smaller 10-man encounter coming involving sandworms that's a more bite-sized version of the 20-man large sandworm encounter.
With the Season 2 pass in New World, devs have tuned the pass to improve XP given and rewards earned. There will be simpler ways to earn Season Pass XP solo if you want, and the rewards will include things such as transmog tokens.
Season 2 heads back to the Brimstone Sands zone, and the devs likened it to an Indiana Jones adventure across the desert.
