The latest episode of Forged In Aeternum is up with the latest dev talk about New World. In this week's episode, they talk about the PTR and how it changes what Amazon Games develops for New World in both the short term and the long term.
Katy Kasynski, New World Live Lead / Senior Producer speaks on some of the overall goals of the PTR, when releases to the PTR arrive, and what they are looking for from players.
Lead Seasons Designer Patrick Smedley dives into testing the release of Seasons in the MMORPG. He talks about player feedback on the reward track, what players liked and did not like on the PTR, and adjustments the dev team made in order to make the Season Pass reward track more fun in New World. Patrick goes on to reiterate that they are still listening to feedback on Seasons and will be incorporating that feedback in future Seasons.
