New World's Cross World Expeditions And Improved Group Finder Coming This Week
Getting into expeditions is about to get a lot easier.
On February 7th, New World will finally be releasing its long-awaited cross-world expeditions and improved group finder tool. It's a feature the MMORPG's players have been asking for since the original lobby finder launched back in 2022, and should be a huge quality-of-life improvement for players.
The cross-world expeditions feature does pretty much what it says on the tin. Players can now be grouped with parties consisting of players from other servers in order to run normal, M1, and M2 expeditions. Why no M3, you ask? The team says that the most challenging content in the game requires a lot of setup and coordination to be successful, and they didn't feel like assembling random groups would be a good experience for players.
As far as the improved group finder tool, well it gives you more of a one-button ability to find a group instead of setting up a lobby and waiting for others to apply as it is currently in the game. It should work more like the group finders you're accustomed to in games like World of Warcraft.
