New World Celebrates The Year Of The Dragon With In-Game Event And Activities
Gain buffs and item rewards.
New World is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with a special in-game event that features lots of activities, buffs, and item rewards to satisfy your dragon heart. It all begins in Ebonscale Reach on February 7th and runs through the 20th. During the MMORPG's event, players can join Longtable Banquets, Tribute Offerings, and Firework Ceremonies.
The Longtable Banquet will see New World players gathering ingredients for a giant hotpot, then firing up the wok to create different meals that give them buffs to things like Faction Tokens, gathering yield, or attributes.
Players can also retrieve Heirlooms and offer them to Tribute Tables at 1 of 3 rotating POIs each day. The Tribute Table can appear at Skyson Temple, Serenity Outpost, or Imperial Palace. Offer two heirlooms to the Tribute Table to receive one out of five Dragonscale heavy armor pieces, but be careful, a corrupted maiden boss will try to snatch your newly found treasure.
Along the way, you'll be gathering Fortune's Gift Sacks from the Gift Sack pile and the tribute daily. Daily rewards reset at 5 AM local time.
