New World: Aeternum Puts The Focus On New Upcoming End Game Activities
There is a little something for endgame players coming with the relaunch.
With New World: Aeternum set to make its console debut and PC relaunch on October 15th, much of the focus of the MMORPG's development has been the new player and leveling experiences. But Amazon Games doesn't want you to forget about the new endgame activities they are adding as well.
For starters, there's the new every-man-for-themselves open-world PvP zone coming. Located down in Cutlass Keys, The Cursed Mists will feature treasures and rare resources that can be gathered by players. Players should be cautious, however, because the zone automatically flags you for PvP and you must make it out alive to keep your treasures and resources. Trade the treasures in for end-game gear and use the resources to craft new items.
The 10-player raid "The Hive of the Gorgons" is also coming with the launch of New World: Aeternum on October 15th, featuring three new bosses in a classic raid that should keep existing players busy for a bit. The latest raid will drop the new item level 725 gear. The Sandwurm Raid and Hatchery are also updating their loot tables.
All new Artifacts are coming in the update, as well as a new seasonal reward track. Soul Trials will now be repeatable daily activities that grant updated rewards, and Arena queues will now be cross-world.
Whatever you're into, New World: Aeternum will have a little something for you once it goes live on October 15th.
