New World Aeternum's Legacy Of Crassus Event Returns With New Gear And An Extra Week Of Festivities
The event will last longer than it has in previous iterations.
Sometimes you just can't keep a big baddie down, I guess. Crassus is coming back to New World: Aeternum next week on March 11th and, this time around, there's a few changes to the Legacy of Crassus event. The first change is a very logical one. If you want players to participate in an event, it needs to be worth their time. To make sure this event is, Amazon Games is adding new 710 level versions of the event's weapons and gear. You'll only be able to earn one piece per day, though.
Rewards for participating, provided you do at least 1,000 damage, also include normal and bonus boxes that contain various rewards. The Cyclops Statuettes you may be after, though, are guaranteed if you happen to open 8 bonus boxes and never received them. The odds and distribution of all the box rewards are detailed on the official site.
The other change to the Legacy of Crassus event this time is the duration. The event runs from March 11th through March 31st. If you do the math, that's an extra week compared to previous runs of the event.
While getting an event is nice, it does concern me just a bit that communication from the team seems to be slowing down. I'm sure that having fewer than 10,000 average users on Steam isn't exactly the mass audience Amazon hoped to garner for the MMORPG, but we'll never know full player totals given the console release.
