New World: Aeternum Kicks Off New Marketing With A Second New "Series" Of Videos
This is in addition to the "New Player" video series we covered earlier this week.
As New World: Aeternum closes in on their October 15th launch (and the upcoming September 13th open beta), it's time to start marketing the game a bit more to the potential new console crowd the MMO really needs to attract. Until now, most of the marketing videos and art shown at events has been content PC players have already seen. In fact, some of the videos used were older videos from the PC marketing campaign for recent content updates.
Today sees what I think is the first totally new trailer and, judging by the "Episode 1" in the video title, this will also be a series. This is in addition to the 34 video "New Player" series we reported on earlier this week. Speaking of the new player series, episode 2 of that series did go up, so I'll embed both videos below.
Honestly, the "World of Aeternum: Episode 1" video is kind of awesome. It does a great job creating a bit of mystery and aura around the Eternal Isle and showcases some of the great vistas in the game. If I had never played the MMO at all, it would certainly be a trailer that made me go "hmm, I may like that." Now let's see where future episodes take things!
