New World’s 1.5.1 Update Brings Important Changes To The New Arenas
Players will be able to receive more rewards with these new changes.
New World Adventurers, it is time for the next weekly update. In New Worlds 1.5.1 Update, players will experience fixes for PvP, weapons, and performance.
Starting with PvP fixes in this update, PvP XP and Salt rewards are now more generous in OPR and Arenas. Even if players lose the overall match, both PvP XP and Salt will still be awarded to players. In addition, the daily cap for Arena matches has been set to 40 matches in 24 hours. This equates to approximately 3 hours of daily PvP Arena matches. After the 40 matches have been met, and if players would still like to participate in Arenas, they can do so but will be rewarded with only 25% of the original PvP XP and Salt rewards.
On top of extra PvP rewards in Arenas, the amount of coins in each of the coin packs received from the PvP Rewards Track has also increased. This update will also bring important bug fixes to Arenas, as well. The first thing that has been fixed is the issue that allowed players to circumvent damage from the Arena’s Ring of Fire by using certain abilities. The next issue to be fixed, and a rather annoying one at that, was where opening the Scoreboard (default: N key) during a PvP Game Mode would kick the player out of the match which would also result in a Leaver Penalty.
For weapons, the Blunderbuss, Ice Gauntlet - Entombed, and Bow have been fixed. The Blunderbuss fixed an issue that caused normal shots to deal no damage for a short time after using an ability, while the Ice Gauntlet - Entombed have fixed an issue where this ability did not receive the correct healing reduction in Arenas. Lastly the Bow has had an issue fixed that caused charged bow shots to have reduced accuracy.
