New Wayfinder Revealed, Plus The First Event, QOL Updates, And Community FAQs Answered
Don't forget, we're still in Early Access!
Finally, some good Wayfinder food.
During the Tokyo Game Show 2023, a new character was revealed. His name is Grendel, and he will be a part of Founder's Season 2. Players with Founder's Awakened or Exalted Packs can instantly access Grendel, while Initiate Pack owners can craft components to unlock it.
There’s also a new live event on the MMO's horizon called "Call of the Void.” Players are tasked with exploring mysterious rifts in the Highlands, encountering new quests, and facing formidable enemies like the Talon of Pyre and Bloodbore. A new Lost Zone named Gloom Dungeon will be introduced too, along with a new weapon called "Juggernaut." Completing the event offers an exclusive reward: a Gloom Dagger skin called Dawning Hope.
In terms of quality of life updates, Phase 1 (which dropped already) includes changes to the Echo Fusion system and the ability to break down Echoes into Dust. There’s also increased XP earned from Hunt activities, a higher Echo limit, and improvements to accessory handling in Venge's SELL interface. Phase 2 is planned for later on during Early Access.
Also, the community's frequently asked questions were addressed, with information on upgrading Founder's Packs, resetting Affinities, and reaching Max Arclight in Lost Zones. The team said they are actively working on support tickets and the response time is improving.
All of this information was included in the bi-weekly Wayfinder Wednesday newsletter. The next one is scheduled for October 11, 2023.
