New Warhammer 40K: Warpforge Update Reworks The Mission System
Progressing should be easier for players going forward.
Today, Everguild Ltd., dropped update v1.8.0 in Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge. The update makes significant changes to the card game’s missions system, making its progression less of a chore. Beginning now, players can queue daily missions, making it so they only need to play once a day in order to progress. Once a player completes the Onboarding Missions, three daily missions become available. Additional missions become available every four hours. With the queuing system, players can queue three of those missions so that they’re available immediately after the others are completed.
The update also introduces some quality-of-life changes. The music volume setting can now be used to control the loading screen. For mobile players, performance enhancements improve battery life and memory use. Hopefully, this means fewer crashes. Of course, there are bug fixes as well.
The patch notes for update v1.8.0, available on the Warpforge site, also include an updated version of the Early Access Roadmap. This includes the game’s first ranked season, the introduction of alliances, and a new faction.
