New V Rising Patch Debuts Highly Requested Scheduled Server Wipes Feature And Game Improvements
The update is now live!
Stunlock Studios, developers of the unexpected smash-hit vampire survival game V Rising, released a new patch earlier today that brings a highly requested feature to the game. Players can now create new servers and enable a scheduled wipe feature, which literally restarts the server during an officially planned wipe.
Unfortunately, older servers in V Rising won't be able to use the feature. After creating a new server and enabling the feature, there will be a unique icon in the server list and there's even a filter that players can use to show only scheduled wiped servers. Once within the server, a displayed timer will show the number of days remaining before the next planned wipe. In the future, Stunlock wants to introduce new official servers with this feature.
There are other improvements available now in the game such as bug fixes and general quality-of-life changes. Stunlock has fixed a bug where clouds would get blurry and start to lag the game over time and now DLCs work in LAN mode. For general changes, the initial server list now prioritizes servers with players first to increase the speed of those who join up. New localization has also been added for Spanish - Latin American, Danish, Thai, and Ukrainian.
You can read the full patch notes on the game's Steam blog.
