New Tarisland Trailer Details How The Game Was Optimized For Both PC And Mobile Devices
The goal is to offer both PC and mobile players “peak performance”.
With Tarisland being designed for both PC and mobile devices, Level Infinite has been working to ensure that gameplay will be as good as possible for both types of players. Their most recent developer update video offers players a look at what kind of decisions have gone into the designs for both platforms, with an eye to making gameplay as comfortable as possible on each device.
The video notes that, ideally, long sessions should be played on PC while mobile devices are better for short, on-the-go sessions. That said, a great deal of thought was put into making the controls and menus function optimally on both platforms. The development team has custom made screens and controls for both device types.
In the case of PC design, the MMORPG's developers have included plenty of customization options. Mobile players can expect something designed around simplicity and convenience. Over 100 functional pages have been designed for PC and mobile.
The video goes on to detail the layout on both device types, including where players will need to look to access their inventory, quest tabs, and more.
